Question by Amelie B: PHOTOSHOP brush setting error (yellow triangle)?!?
HEY i am trying to set my brush on “pen pressure”, but everytime i try this little yellow triangle pops up right next to it and it says : “Control by pen pressure requires the use of a pressure sensitive tablet” WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO? I got windows.
Answer by Jamie W
…Well, do you have a pressure sensitive tablet(such as wacom)? If you don’t, then you cant use this feature. If you do, then try reinstalling the drivers for it, and rebooting your computer.
Question by JJ: Which color management setting in Photoshop CS4 provides the best monitor-to-paper output?
I do a lot of printing from my photoshop, and I’m looking for the setting that will provide me with colors as close as possible to the colors on my screen. Can someone please help me with these?
Answer by vbmica
This is a difficult question to answer since it is a complicated process which is beyond the scope of most answers here. this is what I would do to start:
1. Use only the printer manufacturer’s ink and papers to start with.
2. Make sure you select the proper paper when you are in the print dialog boxes.
3. Use high quality settings
This should get you close.
If you are not happy with the results, then you need to calibrate your monitor, use ICC profiles for printing and choose the correct color space for your images.
Your printed images will never match the screen images exactly – reflected light off the paper is different than transmitted light from the screen.
Hope this helps some.

Question by sana n: Do you know what the problem about photoshop brush setting is?
There is no change even if i choose shape dynamics option on.
Answer by Jonathan
Notice how you have the shape size set to pen pressure, and there is an exclamation box next to it.
This means that either it cannot read your tablet, or you do not have a tablet.
The line weight is done through this with a tablet in photoshop, not with a mouse, unless you use the pen tool.

I was trying to do a dotted line on photoshop and unchecked Shape Dynamics and Smoothing I’m sure those are the right setting but when I checked them back my brush’s still the same like when I did that dotted line it doesn’t turn back to the original brush. And it doesn’t go back to the old brush when I close and open Photo Shop again either. So how can I reset my brush back, anyone know?

I hate the way the default settings for all brushes on photoshop have spacing. Is there a way to make it so that I dont have to change it myself every time I change the brush size? Im using photoshop cs2 on windows vista.
I cant change any settings if I dont have a file open.
