Question by Carly C: How to get back gray outside document boundaries in Photoshop CS4?
Usually, in Photoshop, there is a default gray color outside the boundaries of a document. You see this when you open a document window to full screen. How ever recently, the color has been white and it has screwed me up as to where the boundary of the document is. Anyone know how to make the white go back to it’s original gray?
Answer by 2Create
Hi, you can do the following,
Go to Edit –> Preferences –> Interface –> change the color back to Gray for the Full Screen option.
Hope this helps 😀

Question by AISHA: How can i add an image to a document in photoshop cs4 without changing the background?please help?
I’m working with photoshop cs4 and I really need help.
I’m trying to add images to my companys flyer but my background is changing when I’m trying to add images. Can somebody please help
when i am adding an image the background surrounding the image is turning white instead of being the background, what can i do to just add the image without doing anything to the background?please help.this is my companys project and i cannot find a solution 🙁
Answer by Monsoon
here’s what i would do,
1)open up the image(s) you need to add and the flyer. 2)press “V” (this activates the move tool) then select an image you wanted to add 3)click on the image and drag it to the flyer it should pop up as a separate layer ready for you to bend at your will.
If it doesn’t work you can mail me or possibly send it to me, if you feel comfortable doing that i could check it out and send you back something more solid. Good luck!
