New Adobe photoshop brushes
Question by Blaze: What is better for me Adobe Photoshop CS4 or Adobe Photoshop Elements 8?
I am a digital artist i draw anime, and i havent used photoshop before but im taking a class next school year, i dont care about the price i just want the one that will fit my needs best. So which one is better for me?

CS4. It’s a brilliant, all-encompassing piece of software.
It’s very expensive to get if you know nothing about it, though!

I would like to know for someone who has a knowledge and experience using these programs. I want to edit sound from my camera and add some effects like reverb, bass, normalization, chorus etc.
I heard cs4 is more powerful in audio effects, but really don’t which one to choose.

CS-4 by far is the best.
Adobe programs are those that all others are judged by.

They are the same. The shortcut keys are slightly different.
Elements does not have 95% of what CS4 has. It is a very basic photo editor.

Take Better Digital Photos (Photography).
I bought a tablet and it came with Photoshop Elements 6.0. I started using that to work on my art.
Now I have heard that GIMP is better. Should I switch to GIMP or stick with Photoshop Elements 6.0? Which one is easier to use? Which one is easier to find brushes for, o can I use my old brushes on GIMP as well?
I do not have the money to go buy an upgrade on Photoshop Elements so don’t post that, please.
