Question by AnnetteParadox: My Photoshop brushes are Houdini?
When I exit out of my Photoshop, all my brushes (except for the defaults) get deleted. It’s only happened twice, but it’s a pain in the you-know-what – especially since I have no idea what’s going on.
Answer by amybeader
Make sure you save those brushes as a brush set. Use the Brush engine to do this, it’s the panel that shows all the currently loaded brushes. You can actually create as many brush sets as you want. So if there is a group of special brushes you use a lot, open that big panel, delete any brushes you don’t use and save as a new brush set, give it a unique name that makes it easy to remember. Then when you open a new Photoshop document, you can easily reload that brush set.
I know I’m leaving out some details, but I’m doing this from memory. =)

Question by Nature’s Son: How to design a website using Adobe Dreamweaver CS4?
I have Dreamweaver CS4 and wanted to design a website. I had already created the website folder but don’t know what to do next. Which option I have to choose from HTML, PHP, CSS and XML. I really don’t know. Just wanted to create a simple and easy to update website with the help of wordpress. Also please tell me how I can do it with the of wordpress?
Answer by Greg
Hi Nature’s Son,
Well the short answer is you don’t need Dreamweaver if your site is running WordPress.
WordPress has everything you need to get a site up and running without any programing. So all you need to do is add content. It truly is simple and easy.
If you wanted to create a custom website from scratch, that’s where Dreamweaver would come in.

Answer by MJordan1
Adobe keeps Brushes in two separated files. To locate them (assume you use Windows platform):
1- Program Files >> Adobe >> Adobe Photoshop >> Presets >> Brushes.
And this one holds all Adobe Standard Brushes.
2- The other file which holds user-defined brushes, is the one which pop-up when try to load adobe brush (see the link above)
Question by Danielle: What type of brush should be used when doing lineart in Photoshop?
My lineart always comes out like this , http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2qiustt&s=5 (pay no attention to the colors) And its really annoying! It looks so stupid while the one I did in pencil which was scanned and messy turns out looking way better.
I think I’m doing something wrong because all of the other linearts I’ve seen look different.
Answer by Seeker Of Painful Truths
Hi, I’m a concept artist. My job is to draw and paint different things in PS. I use PS CS3. To draw I use the hard edge brush. Basically what you want to do is, go to the brushes menu, click on Hard Round Brush. There should be a brush representation stroke picture in the brushes menu to show you the kind of stroke your going to get. The stroke should have a crisp hard edge. It should also have shape dynamics on so it has pressure sensitivity. So it should go from a point, to thick, back to a point. Draw on a seperate layer from the background so you can always go back to a fresh white document. Also, turning the opacity down to about 50 or 60 percent while using jet black as your color gives you the ability to understand your lines better.
Help that helps.

Question by Risk: Photoshop Tear drop brush?
Does anyone know where I could get a photoshop teardrop brush?
Answer by Kylie A
It would be easy enough to create your own teardrop brush in photoshop. Either draw the teardrop yourself, or use the shape creator that is already a part of photoshop, rasterize the layer so it’s just the drop shape, and then go to “define brush” and create your own brush.
