New Adobe photoshop brushes
Question by Kiyomizu: How do I install brushes on Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended version?
Hi.
I’m not at all familiar with this version of
Photoshop… and I can’t seem to get the original CS5 version…
So, I went with this one..
How do I install brushes in this version?

Copy the brush file to C:/ Program Files / Adobe/ Adobe Photoshop CS5 /Presets / Brushes

In Photoshop 7, I worked pretty fast and enjoyed selecting a single layer by holding down the Control button and clicking the layer. This creates the “moving ants” around whatever is in that layer. I liked this feature.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work this way in CS4.
Or does it? Does anyone know how to do it?

Shift + Ctrl + Alt + click on the layer’s thumb.

On my old computer they showed up as grids, but I recently installed a newer Photoshop and the brushes turns up as just one per line, with the a box on the side showing how the brush looks if you draw a wave. How do I change this?

You can click on the brush then hit that little button then a palete should come up to let you choose which brush you want you can also go to edit and brush palete same thing.

The difference is they add new exciting features to each upgrade.
CS-
CS-2
CS-3
CS-4
Each upgraded version, Adobe add’s features that make the software more user friendly and there features improvement in may cases where it would take 2 or 3 moves to attain a feature can now be don automatically with one click.
I have owned Photoshop from as far back when they only had
Adobe Photo Deluxe and have improved it over the years, the last 20 in my case to be exact.

Open the brush palette. Click add or append brushes and find your brush file.
Im not sure what PhotoFiltre is, but that’s how you do it in Photoshop.

I like the Photoshop program more, but I was wondering if I could recreate the look of the brushes from Painter on Photoshop. Photoshop seems to be a great program to paint in as well as touch up the paintings using its photo editing tools, but the images painted usually have a digital feel instead of a natural feel.

yes. photoshop is very versatile and can mimic painter. i’ve seen work done in photoshop that looks like it has been done in painter. you just have to have the right brush settings.

Try downloading it and running the install file from your computer not over the internet.

In Photoshop CS3 you were able to just go File>Automate>PDF Presentation. CS4 does not have this option, is there somewhere else I have to go to make it as seamlessly?

Question by Sara: when i go on adobe photoshop, my brush strokes are dots not a smooth line…what did i do?

Press the Shift key to make your lines look neat and look good
So Click Hold Shift Then Click to get a straight line.
