What’s wrong with my photoshop brush?

Question by twiggle512: What’s wrong with my photoshop brush?
Here’s a picture of what’s happening:

The faster I go, the spottier it gets. Is this normal, or have I changed a setting somehow?

HELP!

I do not know the settings for the brush you are using, so we will start from scratch:

1. On the menu (top right) in your brushes palette, choose “Reset brushes”.
2. Now choose the first 19px solid brush you find. Draw a stroke and see if it still happens.
3. If it still happens, try to reduce “spacing” under “brush tip shape” (although this should not be changing depending on painting speed).
4. Try with a mouse and not a tablet pen (just in case that’s what you were using).
