I use a apple computer. I keep having this problem with photoshop if i try and add any color the color always turns grey its getting me really aggravated! Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure that you are not in grey scale. To do this go to Image > Mode > and check either CMYK or RGB.
When you make a new document you might have it set to be grey scale all the time thats why it keeps happening.
