  1. I assume you downloaded the brush. I use Photoshop CS3 and CS4, but I am hoping in Elements you also have a folder that’s labeled Presets (it will be in the Photoshop Elements Folder on your system). Inside the Presets folder is the Brushes folder. You have to put the brush file in the Brushes folder, then open a Photoshop document and load the brush. Photoshop or Elements will not see the brush until you tell it to by loading it.

  2. Since I do a lot of drawing, I downloaded and installed this brush. It saves as an abr (brush) file, no zip folder to mess with. The easiest way to install it is to right click on the big blue and white abr file and click on COPY. Open Documents or Pictures and use the Windows Explorer over on the left side. Scroll down to Computer>C:>Program Files>Adobe>Photoshop Elements 6.0>Presets and click once on Brushes to open it. Find an empty space among the files and folders and right click on it. Make sure none of the files and folders has highlighted. Scroll down to and click on Copy. If Elements is open you have to close it and restart it for the brush to appear in the brush selector dropdown.
