Question by smiles4anita: How can I convert my fixed sliced up CS4 PS with a menu bar under the banner to a liquid one?
How can I convert my fixed sliced up CS4 PS index page with a menu bar under the banner to a liquid one? My index page has a banner up top and a horizontal navigation bar underneath then two equal columns below. I’m not sure that even matters. But I want my index page and every other page designed from the basic index file to be liquid to accommodate bigger monitors. Thanks! Anita

Don’t waste your time trying to make a web site to fit monitor sizes. That is NOT what you need to worry about. It is the browser’s viewing area being used by the User. You can have the same resolution on a 10-inch screen as on a 22-inch screen. The browser’s viewing area will be different for both in most cases. The one with the smaller screen will run their browser maximized. Many others with a 22-inch screen may run the browser window smaller so as to have more apps open and in view.
