Why does the pen for my Wacom Intuos 4 tablet make a smaller brush size in Photoshop CS4 than with a mouse?

Question by lafemi: Why does the pen for my Wacom Intuos 4 tablet make a smaller brush size in Photoshop CS4 than with a mouse?
In Photoshop CS4 (I use a Mac if that’s relevant), when I paint using a mouse, the brush size is normal, and when I use the tablet pen using the same brush size, it automatically becomes a lot smaller? I could always just make the brush size even bigger just so I can use the pen, but it’s kind of odd. The “target circle” will be huge.

How do I get photoshop to register my tablet?

I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 and a HP TouchSmart tx2z tablet laptop. I set my photoshop brush settings to pen pressure, but there is a warning mark next to the control type under size jitter in shape dynamics that states “Control by pen pressure requires the use of a pressure sensitive tablet”. I thought that my tablet might not be pressure sensitive, but I turned on the pen pressure in Windows Journal and it worked fine. How do I get photoshop to understand I have a pressure sensitive tablet?

Graphic tablet not working with Photoshop CS4?

I have the Genius MousePen 8×6. The mouse works fine with Photoshop CS4 but the pen does not! When i try to draw using the Pen (either with brush or pencil tool) it only draws a straight line from where the pencil or brush first lands to where it finishes??
I have tried to modifying the settings updating my Graphic Tablet drivers, reinstalling both my Graphic Tablet and Photoshop all to no avail. I just don’t know what else to do!?
anyone???
No, the shift key is not locked down. My Graphic tablet worked perfectly with Photoshop CS3, no problems at all.
It just seems like CS4 is the problem?!
My Graphic Pen will work fine for about 2mins but after that it just draws straight lines, no matter what I do?!

Problem with my photoshop/graphics tablet?

I use Photoshop CS 2007 and my tablet is a ‘HyperPen’ from Aiptek.

I’ve had the device for a long time and it’s worked perfectly with Photoshop ever since I bought it. (I use it for drawing). But suddenly, there seems to be a problem with it? Either it, or Photoshop.

The pen pressure just isn’t working anymore! The pen itself works in general because it does ‘click’ things and it does still draw – but the pen pressure brushes that are supposed to appear in Photoshop automatically are not there, even though I haven’t changed any of the settings. The lines are solid and there is none of the usual graduation (i.e. you press lightly and the line is small, you press hard and the line is large)
This makes Photoshop practically unusable for me, for what I would usually use it for, and I’d really like to get it fixed.

I hope I was specific enough – if there aren’t enough details just ask and I’ll add any extra information I can.

In photoshop using a bamboo fun tablet, how do you set the brush to draw by pressure sensitivity?

Sometimes, i got to draw using pressure sensitivity without getting to set up anything. It’s automatic when I open photoshop. But often i don’t know what to do, the pressure sensitivity is not automatic. i even tried changing the opacity jitter and all but to no avail…

i’m new in using tablet so bare with me… tnx…

Can’t Configure Adobe Photoshop CS and Tablet Feature?

I’m trying to get some brushes following the dynamics of the image below. I have a tablet; well…my laptop IS the tablet. I can’t get the tablet function to work with adobe to where I have access to those brushes. Anyone have any ideas?
