Question by Ruben: Is it possible to add a filter to multiple frames at the same time on Photoshop CS4?
I make animations on CS4 and when I want to add a filter to the frames I have to add it one by one. It’s very time consuming. So, is it possible or am I shit out of luck?

Oh come on, I need answers!

You can copy layer styles and adjustments to multiple layers but not filters.
Question by Brian Powell: is it possible to upgrade from Photoshop cs4 to cs5 from a PC to MAC?
I have cs4 on my PC and I just bought an iMac. I’d like to upgrade to cs5 and I’d like to have it on my iMac. Do i have to buy the $ 700 full version or is it possible to just buy the upgrade?
Answer by Colanth
You don’t have Photoshop on the Mac so you can’t upgrade it. You have to buy another copy, regardless of which version you want. (Adobe considers different platforms to be different programs. You can’t “sidegrade” from one to the other.)

Question by So Curious: Is it possible to convert Photoshop brushes into Paint Shop Pro?
Answer by Doug
No can do. Adobe Photoshop is not my software of choice. I would work with Paint Shop Pro. Despite all the hype Adobe gets, I think PSP is a hundred times better. Adobe is simply a commercial success. It has no real value.

Question by Jong: Photoshop CS4: Is it possible to change the opacity of multiple layers at once?
Photoshop CS4: Is it possible to change the opacity of multiple layers at once? For instance:
1. I’ve selected Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3, which each have different opacities (45%, 60%, 75%)
2. Can I somehow, in one fell swoop, change the opacity of all three layers to 100%?
Answer by Eric S
select all of the layers then change the opacity

I was wondering if i could color in photoshop brushes, so they could look better instead of just having the black outline.
I spent alot of time downloading A LOT of GIMP brushes and my mom deleted GIMP. But I still have access to the brushes folder. So Is there a way to transfer those brushes to Photoshop.. There brushes are like the same right.
Step by step here is my problem. i used to always
open a picture
click on create adjustment layer
slide the saturation down to -100
then grab my brush and put color back into selected areas
now when i do the same steps, once i try to put color back in it says
“could not use the color replacement tool because the target is an adjustment layer.”
So i’m not sure if I locked something up and that’s why it’s not letting me. I used to always go through those same steps and never had a problem until now.
thanks for the help!
Both versions of Photoshop are the same (7).
Do I have to reinstall the filters? And can I just drag the other presets over to the CS4 directory?
