Unless you need the exact X,Ys (like in a map) just import any gridded jpg into the slide and send it to the back of page. Organize you slide accordingly and delete the grid jpg once complete. (google grid images for good examples)

I do this sometimes in powerpoint to ensure each slide is setup the same.

Note: there also maybe a snap to grid option under the edit toolbar?

You can do this in 2 ways one is copy paste another is loading from photoshop.

Copy & Paste a Brush:
Copy the brush file(.abr) that you want to use.
Go to your photoshop installed directory Your Installed Drive(Default will be C:) Program Files > Adobe Photoshop CS4 > Presets > Brushes and paste it.

Loading a Brush:
Open Photoshop select Brush Tool(B).
Below menu bar you will see your Brush Size and a small down arrow after it.
Hit that arrow and again that small window you will see a right arrow besides your brush size and hit it.
From Menu choose Load Brushes and select your desired brush.

Copy & Paste a Textures/Patterns:
Copy the Texture/Pattern file(.pat) that you want to use.
Go to your photoshop installed directory Your Installed Drive(Default will be C:) Program Files > Adobe Photoshop CS4 > Presets > Patterns and paste it.

Loading a Textures/Patterns:

K so I am having a little trouble with Adobe Photo Shop cs3 since I am pretty new to it. Well when I tried using different brushes all of the brushes were grey and I couldn’t click them. Even when I opened a custom brush folder they still did not work.

photoshop elements 3 brush question. how do you make brushes default brushes? good answer gets 10 points!?

i loaded a TON of brushes onto photoshop elements 3. and then they all went away after i accidentally clicked “default brushes on the brush type menu. i had to reload them…it sucked. haha. how to i get to “all brushes”, or save the brushes ONTO photoshop, so that they never go away from the brush set…in other words, make a default brush.
