Q&A: Why can’t I open my downloaded brushes on adobe photoshop?

Question by kirut: Why can’t I open my downloaded brushes on adobe photoshop?
I’m having real problems with my photoshop brushes that I’m downloading off the internet. Normally I download the file, open it in Winzip, unzip it, then extract the file into my brushes folder and when I open it in Photoshop it comes up.
I haven’t done it for a while, and when I went to do it a minute ago it won’t work. The brushes I have extracted don’t appear in the loading menu, when I open to folder?

The files are saved as PNG images, which isn’t correct is it?
Why is this and how can I change this? It’s on every site I donwload them from?

Is it an ABR file? Photoshop uses that format for brushes.

I personally find that if I just shutdown Photoshop & restart it, that that’s the easiest “quick fix” rather trying to trouble shoot for 10 minutes with no success.

How to open and treat several images in photoshop cs4?

Question by murtaza: How to open and treat several images in photoshop cs4?
I would like to resize several images at once in photoshop, Is that possible and how?

Answer:

Answer by allison!
i think u cand do that on Picasa. just google it and download it, its totally free and barely takes up memory. and it’s by Google, so it’s really fast. 🙂

you change a picture, then apply effects to all pictures and it applies the changes you made to that ONE picture, to every picture you select in the album.

How to open mutiple files in Photoshop CS4 in a single tab?

Question by IWannaAnimate: How to open mutiple files in Photoshop CS4 in a single tab?
OK, so photoshop is the only program that i can’t figure out how to do this, when i try to drag files and drop them in one tab, they all open seperately, anyway to open em in a single tab?

Answer:

Answer by Geo. I
Your reference to “tabs” confuses me. Just exactly what are you trying to do?
If you’re trying to combine all of the images into one (making up a collage type effect, for example), then you’ll have to open each image and drag them all into the one (rather large!!!) sheet.
If you’re using ther online version of Photoshop to do this, then you’re out of luck. Just ain’t gonna happen, cap’n. Adobe have specifically set it up this way so that (for example) the online version of Photoshop can’t be used for copyright theft (opening a whole website of images into one document and saving it out, for example).
Hope This of Use
