google “photoshop 7 brush set”

You can make your own brush out of any image. Make it at least 800×800 dpi, or copy/paste or save and open an image you like.

Leave it as it is, or convert it to black and white and adjust the contrast until it looks right.

Go to file>define brush preset

Open up your brushes. The new preset will be the last one. The black/dark areas will be the color you choose, with varying degrees of transparency depending on the shade of darkness. The white area will be clear.

And it’s really really beautiful. really pretty. I’m asking you this because I like the brushes in the image. Every single one of it. Drawing helps but you could definitely pick up good techniques. I’d suggest reading some typography and graphic design books and mimic what you see in those. That along with looking up techniques online would give you a good start. Also, it’s more of a preference/usage thing, but I’d also look into illustrator as well. Illustrator is vector based design software, which helps wonders in design on print media, especially when you need to design something scalable, IE taking a poster and blowing it up onto a billboard, it’ll still look good. It also works nicely with flash if you’re a good vector artist.

This sounds like a default method, but try Google for it. A lot of people make their own brushes, especially graphics sites, which are common for sites that have you create a profile.
