Question by TimeShifterX: What exactly would I be using Fireworks CS4 for?
I own Adobe Design Premium CS4 and I don’t know what I would be using Fireworks CS4 for. In the Design Premium CS4 you get Photoshop CS4 Extended, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Adobe Acrobat Pro. What can Fireworks do that my other design programs can’t do?

It depends on what you are doing. If you are editing photos, then I think PhotoShop is great. I use Fireworks all the time, and actually prefer it over PhotoShop (I don;t do a lot of photo editing). I find it a lot easier to create logos and edit images than in PhotoShop. It all depends on the person, but I would say that for me, Fireworks is way better.
Question by miss.mongoose: What exactly are photoshop brush sets and vector art? I want to use some of them in my wedding invites.?
I’m not an advanced photoshop user, although I do have CS3. I need to know how to install the brush sets and then what to do with them 🙂
Answer by Robert G
Click the arrow in the upper right corner to navigate through the Brushes Window (small arrow in the upper right corner)
Now select “Load Brushes …” in order to activate the downloaded ones.
Select the brush and click on “Load”.
New Brushes will show up in the brush list.

I am decorating my binders for school, and after downloading a few sets of free brushes I am ready to start. For some reason, I’m not able to edit the image size. I opened just a blank square so I could edit the image to fit a standard sheet of paper.By the way, I have CS3. How do I do this?
If you have any more questions, I’ll put them in additional details.
