You don’t really need Photoshop to do that. You need to 1) shoot at your cameras highest resolution, 2) fill the frame in the camera so you don’t later have to throw away any of the image file and 3) make sure all your images are shot so not subject or camera movement causes blur

Spending $ 700 or so on CS4 to “fix” mistakes made in the camera is not a good economical strategy. Better so spend your money on a second lens and learn to use your camera to get the shots in the camera … an not need to use any photo program to fix mistakes

Q&A: my photoshop brushes go blurry when i make them smaller?

Question by beneath the unknown: my photoshop brushes go blurry when i make them smaller?
I download brushes off the internet, usually they are approx 1000px +
When i put them onto a canvas, my canvas is usally 800×600 so i need to make the brush smaller.
So i do so and add it to my canvas, it looks all blurry round the edges of the brush?

I don’t know how to change this, any ideas?

You can try changing the “hardness of the brush.” Select your brush, then with your mouse, “right click” the canvas. Change the hardness from 0 to 100% and that would give you total hardness.
