i thought my new computer could run premiere cs4, but whenever i try to play any of the imported clips it never plays right, like it will play really laggy and sluggish, like 5 fps.

i have 4 gigs of ram, amd turion dual core processor, and an ati radeon 3200 graphics card.

how could i make the performance better? or am i really not able to run it that well?

try disabling the GPU support in the performance tab

Hi! Yes, there are tons of sites to find free brushes, actions and plug-ins. I have searched for all of these, and been very successful in collecting a great library of these accessories. There are so many sites available, that it would be too many to even list. The best thing is for you to do a simple search like I did.

Go to http://www.google.com and do a search for “Free Photoshop Brushes,” or “Free Photoshop Actions,” or “Free Photoshop Plugins.”

The searches will bring up lots of sites, and often they will have links to even more sites that offer free options.

I will say, that in the last month, I have noticed that some of the sites that used to offer things for free are now starting to charge for actions, brushes, etc. So, my suggestion is that you “Make hay while the gettin’ is good!”

Also, I have found that it is a good idea to make a backup folder to store all these options. I changed computers, and guess what?

Go to the Brushes folder > Delete what you want. No reason to delete unless they are duplicates.

I had the Adobe CS4 Master Collection, and I didn’t put in a code before it expired and now it says License Has Expired.

I even uninstalled it and still gives me the same error, and I also did the whole “disconnecting from the internet” while installing and opening Photoshop.

Any ideas?

the product code has expired! if you just bought it then contact the customer support… if you stole the product code then there’s nothing the customer support panel can do!

I have a student version of CS4 Master Collection and am due for a PC upgrade. I have been advised to upgrade from 32bit to 64bit version of Windows 7. Will I need to buy a 64 bit version of CS4 to see any gains from the 64 bit upgrade? Or is there only one version of CS4?

There’s only one version of CS4 (or CS5 for that matter)… A 64-bit PC would be able to run either

Use the Clone tool to remove the wrinkles. Sample a portion of the fabric that isn’t wrinkled and clone it to the wrinkled areas.

The striped backround that you see in Answers is not a brush, but just the tiny repeated image of four grey oblique pixels.
