ugh PHOTOSHOP CS2 HELP !?

please help !!!!!!!!!!!!
okay whenever i use a brush of my choice, and want it to be white, its always black ! if i choose any color, and use the brush, its always black ! whats wrong with it ?????

    You might be stuck in Grayscale mode?

    Make sure your Image Mode is set to RGB

    Goto “Image” at the toolbar on the top
    Then click on “Mode”
    Make sure “RGB” is selected.

    the dude above me is right, even I’m quite positive that the Image mode you are working in is set to Grayscale.
