I am trying to edit a photoshop shape layer but even with Show transform controls turned on I cant move or transform the layer (there are no editing locks turned on, and it wont even move with the arrow kes with a nudge)

Does anyone have any ideas to how get it working?

Have you tried Free Transform or selecting the shape with the polygonal lasso. Have you got the layer selected and visible. Try help also.

Hi, I want to buy Coreldraw suiteX4, since it is cheaper than CS4. I need to know is there any problem if I save EPS file from X4 and open it in illustration CS4? or from CS4 to X4?

You should be okay. EPS is Encapsulated Postscript, and is actually a standard that I believe Adobe originally developed (but I could be wrong). Anyway, EPS should be openable in Illustrator.

If you do get Coreldraw Suite X4 and want to test whether an EPS saved out from that program works in Illustrator CS4, contact me through my profile and I will give you my direct e-mail, so you can send me the file to see if it opens correctly in Illustrator CS4, which is what I use.

No, you can run them side-by-side, and in fact some people have three CS versions installed.

And yes, generally CS5 does what CS4 does and much more.

Uh, photoshop is for IMAGES, not websites… you’d need to know HTML & CSS to make the website in the first place, & probably at least PHP to start trying to make your own forum… there are plug-ins you can use (code made by other people) OR you can use wordpress for the comments thing… *shrug*

Photoshop CS6 will adopt a darker theme (that somewhat resembles Aperture software) when it is released in March of 2012. And they have added a number of 3D related tools:

With the student versions that I have purchased, they are exactly the same. You will have to submit proof of academic eligibility (School ID, etc..) to purchase the product.

There wouldn’t be a difference. It’s the “Student Edition” because it’s a special price for students. You had to prove your student status in order to get it at that price.
