brush doesn’t show up in photoshop cs5?
Question by : brush doesn’t show up in photoshop cs5?
Hello everyone
I installed Photoshop CS5 in my new computer (win 7 64 bit, phenom 2 x4 965, GFX HD6870) few days ago. When I choose brush tool, the cursor supposes to show the brush (the shape or the outline of the brush set) but it doesn’t. Not only brush tool but also eraser tool. I can’t see the shape of my brush so it’s really inconvenient whenever I want to paint or erase something.
Any help will be appreciated. :]

First, click on the Brush Tool. Over on the far left side of the Options bar, click on the little arrow and click on Reset This Tool. Do the same for the Eraser Tool. These are both brush-based tools (along with the healing brushes, the clone tool and a few others) which tend to go out of kilter every once and awhile.
Next, go to Edit>Preferences>Display and Cursors. Select the brush cursor that will serve you best.
If neither of these solve your problem, reset the Preferences file. This resets the software back to all the default settings that it first opened with. With Photoshop closed, hold down Shift+CTRL+ALT and launch PS the way you normally do. KEEP HOLDING DOWN THE KEYS until a pop up asks if you want to delete the file. Click OK/Yes and wait while PS opens. Once the program is open, close it, wait a couple of minutes then launch it again.
If resetting the tools and resetting the program don’t work, it’s time for the dreaded uninstall/reinstall. But usually one of the resetting options works:-)
How do you switch from 64-bit to 32-bit on Photoshop CS4 on Windows 7?
Question by Laurel B: How do you switch from 64-bit to 32-bit on Photoshop CS4 on Windows 7?
Be gentle, I’m not too hot with computer-y terms and the like.
Well, it’s in order to make gifs on Photoshop. Apparently I have to have it at 32-bit; again, I don’t know if that’s fact but it’s what I’ve heard.

You don’t need to…if you have a 64-bit processor (which you most likely do), then you should be using 64-bit compatible programs.

Answer:

It is same as you write any statement in microsoft word, just you have to change the language by SHIFT+Alt (at the right of the keyboard for a language and at the left of the keyboard for another language)>
For example:
My name in english is Yousef and in Arabic is يوسف

My Photoshop brushes disappeared?
Question by skyview_mb007: My Photoshop brushes disappeared?
i have the new CS5 and my preset brushes have been changed or something because i need a soft round brush, that lightens around the edge…and the only ones that i have now are solid ones without the softness around the edge. And I’ve reset them, and i still get the same thing. If you can help me out that’d be great!
i’m using the brushes to create a picture, so not cloning or erasing…
Answer:
Answer by Wing
If you’re using brushes for cloning or erasing, try this.
Once you clicked the Cloning or Erasing Tool, the Brushes properties will appear on top just below the Menu. double check if the MODE is set to normal. Opacity is 100%. Also locate the dropdown arrow after the black circle symbolizing for your brush tip.
Good luck! I hope checking this stuffs will lead you to your realization.

I was wondering just what features were added to CS4 that are not included in the CS3 version.

Its just a more updated version, faster, and more efficient in memory as well as a somewhat nicer interface. Probably little knick knacks here and there as well.
How Can Make Pics Black In Photoshop?
Question by Wendy: How Can Make Pics Black In Photoshop?
Well, im trying to edit pic of my friend (who has blond hair) and give her black hair. But because the colors are so light it always comes out grey. And it also does this with pretty much every other pic I have. Im using the Red Eye Brush Tool on Photoshop Version 2.0 .
Answer:
Answer by SEP
Is this an album Photoshop or just Photoshop. Anyways if you have real Photoshop all you have to do is highlight the hair and then go to “image” the click “adjustments” and then click on “color balance” this should let you change the color without changing the pic to much.
if you have an album edition of Photoshop, I suggest you get a free image editor online and use that to edit instead of that program.

Answer by BenRulz
Hmmm well im not sure what exactly is the problem but
To change the zoom tool you just need to click anyother tool, try the Move Tool (v) and your zoom tool should be there anymore.
I hope this solves your problem, or you could be a bit more detailed to help understand the prob better
Cheers!
