Brusheezy.com has by far the largest resource of photoshop brushes. You might also want to check out other free photoshop brush sites like myphotoshopbrushes.com, fbrushes.com or psbrushes.net, but many of their brushes are already on Brusheezy.

Also, the terms of use on the brushes from those other sites is more difficult to find. I prefer Brusheezy because if I have a question about the terms of use on the brush I can just leave a comment on the designers wall and they usually answer back within a day or two. Hope that helps!

The capture app doesn’t determine the space used – it’s down to the video format. MiniDV uses 13 GByte / hour, more for HD and less for highly compressed SD formats. The amount of compression is variable, so there’s no definitive answer.

I’ve been using masks for coloring, and for some reason when i use the brush it erases and the eraser adds the color. I’m really frustrated by it?

press the x button, it will switch from black and white. Using the erase, black erases and white paints the selection mask
press q to switch in and out of quick mask

If I buy Photoshop how much memory will it take up? to Answer this you might go to apple.com to find out the specifations, the lowest available is what i am getting. I also have many many pictures. Would it be smart to buy an external hard drive? Please help!

It’s on a flyout with a couple of other tools and one of them is probably showing right now. Press B on your keyboard and the location of the Paintbrush will highlight in the Toolbar. Click and hold on that place and the flyout will appear. Click on the Paintbrush Tool to activate it.

From a photo. I’m thinking like the old Grand Theft Auto covers or the newspaper-style iconic images of people at the end of sherlock holmes.
I understand there is a “posterize” option but it’s too messy, not smooth enough. I’m leaning more toward the old Grand Theft Auto covers.

I would try vectoring them. I do vectoring all the time and it looks a lot better than the posterize option. You just need to map out all the value that you want and ….just go look up vector art.

My mac always saves the files as Zips (And my .zip has never worked) I know it’s possible to save them on my computer, I have I just forgot how. How would I save the brush so I can use it?

You need to extract the .abr files from the zip

then put the .abr file you’ve downloaded into the folder /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5/Presets/Brushes

Then restart Photoshop.

You would have to first create a Photoshop document that you would use as a “template”. Open this document and “save as” your working document.

Unfortunately you cannot copy and paste guides.
